All patients examined and treated at the NYU Oral Cancer Center are offered the opportunity to participate in clinical trials.
A clinical trial is a research study that uses patients – some with and some without oral cancer – to evaluate the safety and efficacy of new tests or treatments for oral cancer. Participants of clinical trials may be first to benefit from successful new treatments or interventions.
